The annual S.P.Varadaraju (brother of icon of Kannada cinema Dr Rajakumar) awards will be presented on 26th of February to Kannada film actor Sadashiva Brahmavar and Smt.BP Rajamma the prolific theatre actor.

The felicitation for the two veterans is given by SP Varadaraju Athmiyara Balaga consisting of Dr Baraguru Ramachandrappa, Dr Jayamala, BN Subramanya, Doddahullur Rukkoji, HK Govindappa, A.N. Prahallada Rao, Gudihalli Nagara, Dr Vemgal Narayanaswamy, Vatsala Mohan and Deva Nagesh.

The retired IAS officer of Karnataka government Chiranjeevi Singh will be doing the honor on that evening at Nayana Auditorium (situated next to Ravindra Kalakshetra) at 5.45 pm.

In the previous three years – Lakshmi Devi and Paramashivan, Rathnakar and Nagarathnamma, Shanimahadevappa and Sarojamma Duttaragi were honored by SP Varadaraju award felicitation committee.
